East Copenhagen Jewellery is a universe where Eastern heritage is united with Scandinavian aesthetics in their purest form.

Founded by Phuong Rohwer, the brand emerges from a deeply personal and cultural narrative. Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, and later established in Copenhagen, Phuong bridges two worlds with rare elegance. With an academic background in economics and more than a decade of experience as a production and logistics manager for leading international jewellery brands in Scandinavia, she possesses a distinctive understanding of both business and craftsmanship.

Her approach is intuitive and uncompromising. Guided by a strong aesthetic sensibility, she transforms cultural references into refined, minimalist jewellery. Her work balances creative vision with strategic precision, grounded in a profound understanding of quality, value chains and responsible business practices.

In 2016, she founded East Copenhagen Jewellery — a brand defined by understated luxury and timeless elegance. The designs are modern interpretations of Eastern traditions, filtered through a clean Nordic design language. Each piece is created with a focus on subtle finesse, delicate detailing and uncompromising craftsmanship.

The collections are inspired by Phuong’s travels throughout Asia and reflect the region’s rich cultural heritage and evocative landscapes. Series such as Sapa, Hoi An, Chopstick, Rice and Sensu each tell a story — conveyed through form, material and aesthetic expression.
